Hunstanton is a resort town built in the 19th-century on the east coast of England

As a resort town, Hunstanton had a range of traditional entertainments and thronged with summer crowds thanks to the construction of the railway around 1862, which linked the new town to King’s Lynn. The resort and railway were developed by Henry Styleman Le Strange (1815–1862).The cinema arrived relatively early with visiting showmen exhibiting films at the Mikado Concert Hall and Town Hall before the construction of the Capitol cinema in 1932.
