The vision for the project, designed by local Architect Charles Emberson (CEA), is to create a new film education and exhibition space (The John Hurt Centre) with better access for all to learning and appreciating film and screen heritage. There will be two refurbished rooms with facilities for education workshops, film discussion groups, meetings, private hire as well as a screening facility for specialist film (e.g. Archive film).
The John Hurt Studio will also host a permanent exhibition space for rotating exhibitions on Screen Heritage topics. The primary and permanent exhibition will be on Norfolk’s cinema heritage.
